Indonesia's rapid population growth will indirectly affect the increase in waste production which if not followed by effective waste management will have an impact on waste accumulation at the final processing site. There are still many landfills (Final Disposal Sites) in Indonesia that are places to simply dump garbage openly or open dumping so that it can cause danger and the risk of health problems or diseases. One of the health problems in the scavenger community at the Final Disposal Site (TPA) that requires serious attention is contact dermatitis skin disease, due to the presence of garbage that contains materials with irritant properties for the skin. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect contact dermatitis in workers in landfills. This research method is a literature review research with the collection of data from secondary studies that focus on articles and journals that affect the factors that affect the occurrence of contact dermatitis due to work in garbage haulers and scavengers through several sources such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Sciencedirect, Opengate. The sources of literature obtained are 40 journals and which are included in the review as many as based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the hygiene factor of workers in landfills and cases of contact dermatitis in workers in landfills.
