The intersection of psychology and Islamic law presents critical insights into how mental health considerations can inform legal decision-making processes. This paper examines the integration of psychological principles within Islamic jurisprudence, particularly in the context of mental health disorders and their impact on legal responsibility and justice. It explores how Islamic law addresses the mental state of individuals involved in legal matters, including criminal cases, family law, and inheritance disputes. The study highlights the role of psychological assessments in determining culpability, capacity, and the overall fairness of legal decisions in accordance with Islamic principles. Additionally, the paper discusses the ethical and practical challenges faced by legal practitioners when balancing mental health considerations with Islamic legal rulings. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the research aims to offer recommendations for a more nuanced and compassionate application of Islamic law, ensuring that mental health issues are adequately recognized in the legal system while upholding justice and human dignity.
