Abstract

This study explores trends and innovations in global human resource management (HRM) aimed at empowering the workforce in today’s dynamic and highly interconnected environment. Through a qualitative approach employing literature review and library research methods, this paper synthesizes insights from recent studies, reports, and academic discussions on HRM strategies that enhance employee engagement, foster skill development, and drive organizational performance. Key findings reveal a shift towards digital HRM practices, flexible work arrangements, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, highlighting the role of technology and cultural adaptation in reshaping HRM. Additionally, the study addresses emerging trends, such as the use of artificial intelligence in recruitment, virtual training programs, and data-driven decision-making, which collectively create a competitive and supportive work environment. The research underscores the importance of aligning HRM practices with global workforce needs to support talent retention, productivity, and employee well-being. This paper provides a comprehensive view of how HRM innovations contribute to workforce empowerment and offers practical recommendations for HR professionals and organizations to adapt to evolving global workforce dynamics.
