This study examines the impact of juvenile delinquency regulations and restorative justice mechanisms on legal certainty in child criminal cases. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, analyzing relevant legal frameworks, regulations, and restorative justice practices applied in handling juvenile offenders. Findings suggest that while restorative justice mechanisms provide a more rehabilitative approach, they often clash with traditional punitive models, creating uncertainty in legal outcomes. The study highlights the need for a more integrated and consistent legal framework that balances the principles of justice, rehabilitation, and legal certainty in child criminal cases. It concludes that while restorative justice offers significant potential, its implementation requires clearer guidelines to ensure predictable and equitable legal processes.
